The Existence of the Kitchen Garden.

After salvaging the failure of a garden I had last year, I’m happy to report that I actually have plants in the ground, and one day, they will (hopefully) become delicious food.

I’ve planted (in no particular order) lettuce, spinach, Swiss chard, squash, cucumber, tomato, pepper, cauliflower, broccoli, garlic, parsley, chives, cilantro, dill, and lavender.

Elsewhere in the yard…

Onions (next to what will eventually be potatoes).

Rhubarb.

A random experiment with corn. Yup. We’ll see how that turns out…

And the darling wife’s flowers that we still need to plant (as well as my other tomato plant that I’m going to attempt growing in one of those upside-down planters… again, we’ll see how that goes).
